My daughter has made several comments over the past few years about how easy the people that work in Disney have it. She seems to think being a character is the easiest of all the jobs. I have tried to explain to her that the people in the character don’t have that easy of a job. Some of the characters do have it easy in regards to a few things. Things like acne, hair, looks, and things like that. Why…? Well, characters that are in full body costumes with masks don’t have to worry about using the best acne treatment around. They also don’t have to worry about their looks. The ones that have a standard to follow are the ones that have to look very similar to each of the other of their type. In the heat the full body costumed characters have it worse than any of the others. They don’t have air conditioning in their costumes. (Give Disney time, and they will figure that out.)
