Dining Plans For November Trip

We have just finished up making all of our dining reservations for our October / November 2009 trip to Disney World.  A good friend of mine is also going so I made their vacation reservations as well.

We have made reservations using the Dining Plan.  We have been known to make notes of the most expensive places to eat, and then use them on future trips to get the most out of the plan.  I made reservations for Coral Reef, Tappen Edo, 1900 Park Fare, and Chef Mickeys.  My friend is going to be dining at the Spirit of Aloha show, 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickeys, and Hollywood and Vine.

We have also found that the Pepper Market is the best place we have found so far to use the counter meals.  We will be using them for our lunches.

When paying cash you need to watch where you book.  Pricing is a bit high at alot of the restaurants, but can be avoided by using the Dining Plan.

1900 Park Fare is a buffet.  The price is a bit high, but characters are included.

Coral Reef is one of the best places to eat fish type meals.  The price is a bit high.

Teppen Edo is a great dining experience.  The price is ok.

Chef Mickeys is a buffet.  The price is a bit high once again, but characters are included.

We are going to pay cash at the Lilo & Stitch Breakfast at the Polynesian Resort.

Both of our families consist of children, so we try to get a good mix of character, and good eating.  When we get done eating in Disney World we could probably use a bottle or two of some weight loss stuff, like Solo Slim, or something like that.

We love good food, and love to do it when it won’t change the price.  We are using the Dining Plan for 1/2 of our trip.  The other half we are going to eat at our room, or eat out for cheap prices.

It is worth it to pay more with characters to me! I want to take my kids when the youngest gets a little older! Thanks for the tips!
