Recently when my father got sick, and had to go to the hospital my wife started on me about insurance. She was stressing because if anything happens to me there is nothing for her to fall back on. This is because we go on so many Disney vacations, and I find them to be more worth the money than some policy that will get used down the road when I am ancient. What are the chances anything will ever happen while I am in Disney? Slim to none I would gamble. I have been working for many years with the hope of getting some sort of policy to help in case of anything bad, but money seems to find its own way of disappearing in my house. I told her that I would work on getting a life insurance quote so that she could stop pestering me. I just wish they had plans like they have for the older people. You know… The ones that are like pennies a day, and can be paid off fairly cheaply.
Any suggestions for this problem that I have?

Sorry no help here because I am a fly by the seat of my pants type gal. I try to live life to the fullest and tend to not think about the what ifs and such. With that said, I know funeral homes are excellent for finding reasonable rates.
Read up about kinds of life insurance policies first. When it comes to signing up, read all the print. Beware of waiting too long as premiums rise sharply with age and other factors like smoking, obesity, preexisting conditions.
