I know it is old news, but does anyone know what actually went down with the whole “Tigger Punches Kid” thing? I reviewed the clip many times, and I still can’t conclude completely that Tigger was actually punching / hitting the kid. Maybe Tigger was just trying to push the kid away, because the kid had accidentally touched the costume in the wrong place? Maybe something that noone will ever know.
I can successfully state that kids these days are out of control. Parents aren’t much better in some cases. Parents are out for lawsuits, and kids are out to get their face on Youtube, or some other media. Who are we to judge Tigger? I mean come on people… He was convicted before he even got to court. Look at Tigger… He has his jail pinstripes on already in the video…

I think it was an accident. There are handlers with each costumed character that stay with them. It’s unlikely he would intentionally punch the kid knowing a>he was being videotaped, b>the handler was there. Also, it seems when they show a bit after the incident, judging from Tigger’s body language, that he seemed upset that he’d mistakenly hit the kid. What would have been more decisive if they had shown more of what happened after the fact.
With their limited eyesight in the costume, I doubt that that was the “attack” the parents are making it out to be. No doubt he did hit him, but it didn’t look like an act of violence as much as a slip of the hand.
