While in Orlando, Florida we were offered to visit the T-Rex restaurant in Downtown Disney. When staying on Disney grounds it is a very convenient place to eat because you can take Disney transportation there. Even when staying off grounds it is easily accessible by going to Downtown Disney. When the restaurant first opened we ate there, but from what I have observed in life service always changes from the opening experience. We were seated in the Ice Cave Room. The room looks like a ice cave, and at different times during the show that goes on throughout the restaurant the ice turns red. There are very life-sized animatronics of dinosaurs throughout the restaurant. The restaurant does have a lot of noises that go on while you are there.
I got the Giganto-Saurus Burger. Wife, brother, and his girlfriend got the Guac-A-Saurus Burger. Our little one got the Pork-A-Saurus Panini. From the time our order was taken our meals were out to us in @18 minutes. Our little one got a Discovery Blast which is a drink in a light-up cup, and she got the upgrade to make it a smoothie for $2 additional. The server, Taryn, was very polite, knowledgable, and hospitable. When we ordered we didn’t know that fries or mushrooms cost additional. We found this out when the check came. At the end of dinner we had the chocolate extinction. Manager Max checked in on us throughout the meal, as the managers do at most restaurants.

Also located in the building is a Build A Dino by Build A Bear. There is no other way to complete a dinosaur experience except by the kids enjoying making their own dinosaur the same way they build bears at Build A Bear.
The food tasted good, and the service was prompt. We would definitelly eat there again based on this experience.
For additional savings you can become a member of the Safari Club. There are 2 locations for T-Rex one in Orlando, and the other being Kansas City.
I would definitelly recommend this experience to anyone that has children, or likes dining with atmosphere.
We were given the opportunity to review the staff, food, and the facility. In no way was this review effected by this opportunity.
