On our past trip to Disney I made an inquiry into how 2 computers could be connected to the internet. We needed this because I am always working, and if a customer was to call, and need support I would have to be online in a flash, and wouldn’t be able to wait for wife, or little one to finish anything they were doing. This trip a customer called because they needed me to see why a online backup failed. Anyway, I was sent over to the IT dept. for the internet, and the tech was very nice. He advised me that all I would have to bring would be either a wired router, wired hub, or a wireless router. He told me that a wireless access point would be the best way to go. I picked up a very inexpensive D-Link wireless acess point. It was very easy to use. Plug it in, and surf. The bad part was that I didn’t take the time to secure the access point. I didn’t need to use the internet much, but it was very convenient, and inexpensive.
So if you need to have more than 1 computer hooked up while you are away in a DVC resort, then all you need to get is a wireless access point, or a wired network hub.
