On our last trip to Disney World I requested my wife, and daughter to go on Big Thunder Mountain. I got them to agree. My little one has always liked Big Thunder, but she must have gotten scared the last time there because we rode it at night, and now she is a bit leary from riding. Anyway… wife went on even though she swore she would never go on it again. She is a bit weird, but this is her way.
We went a short bit into the ride, and the little one thought that mom was screaming, when in reality she was just yelling. Little one went nuts, and started crying. She then tried to curl up when I advised her against it for her safety. Wife had a good time, and little one hated us for a while. If it wasn’t for Space Mountain being closed this past trip I would have tried getting them on that. Wife told me that unless I had some good term life insurance she wouldn’t be going on that. I had her on it once back about 5 years ago, and she was terrified. I guess that should have been a good hint that going on Expedition Everest would be out of the question, but I tried to get her on that anyway.
Do you catch resistance with going on the better roller coasters?
