The Theme Parks Aren’t Water Parks People

Have you ever gone through one of the Disney theme parks to see parents stripping their child / children down to underwear, and letting them run through water?  I have seen this, and find it very inappropriate.  Today we were in the Animal Kingdom park, and at the restroom area near Kali River Rapids witnessed parents disrobing their children down to their underwear, and letting them play in the water sprayers.  Some of us don’t want to see your kids in their skivies.

People… Go, and pay for admission to one of the water parks.  It is more appropriate to be in a bathing suit at a water park.  Can anyone actually say that they wouldn’t mind a woman, or man in a bikini playing in the water?  I think this would be very alarming, and also inappropriate.  I am not just referring to that specific water sprayer area.  There are other locations that I have witnessed this.  A few others are the water area in Downtown Disney, the water area in Epcot just before World Showcase, and there are others around the world.  Children belong clothed fully when they are out in public.  You can look at it this way… Moms may find it cute for this to happen.  If women played in the water, then Dads would find this cute.  If men played in the water, then women would find that cute.  It is all in the eye of the beholder.

For many reasons Please use swimming pools, or water parks.  Allowing children to swim / play in fountains in the theme parks would be like getting an instant life insurance quote as you walk into a hospital.  Probably great concept, but very wrong.
