Disney And Conservation

Over the past few years we have noticed that Disney is doing more, and more to help out in conservation, and the “Green” initiative.

One of the things that we found very nice was the Picnic In The Park meal.  You order your meal upon entering Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Island Mercantile on Discovery Island.  Disney Dining Plan Quick Service meals can be used to purchase this meal.  You pick it up at a time designated at ordering.  The meal comes in a “Every Tree Has Character” reusable tote that you keep.

Disney has a site that is dedicated to “Green” initiative.  Click HERE to check it out.

I just found a page on the Disney Family site that has some “Green” things if you are looking to do some green shopping.  Check it out HERE.

In the past Disney has donated considerable to the “Green” cause.  Here is an article about their efforts.
